Loraine ten Damme completed her PhD last april at the Aarhus University in Denmark, where she did her PhD work in the department of Agroecology and section of Soil Physics, under supervision of dr. Mathieu Lamandé and prof. Lars J. Munkholm.

Loraine has been a valuable support for ISTRO during her PhD research; among others, she took care of the layout of ISTRO Info, our periodic newsletter.

The ISTRO board congratulates Loraine with her PhD degree and has awarded her a 3-year ISTRO membership. Loraine has started working for Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala in a post-doc position.

The thesis written by Loraine is called 'Revealing key processes of soil structure deformation after traffic' and can be downloaded HERE.
