The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), issued by the EU, came into force on April 2018. ISTRO gathers and stores personal data of members for registration (through the registration page) and for regular membership purposes (membership administration, collection of membership fees, etc.). 

Personal data of ISTRO members will never be made public or handed over to third parties outside the ISTRO organisation. In some cases personal data is used in scientific and PhD research that is presented and can be download from this website. We have removed all personal data from these documents, however we cannot guarantee that all personal data is removed.

If personal data is displayed on this website or in documents downloadable from this website, people need to give consent for their personal data to be displayed on the ISTRO website. If persons disallow their personal data to be displayed on this website or in documents downloadable from this website, they should contact the Secretary General that will arrange this data being removed from general public access.
